Lucky Number Slevin

Ok, I know what you’re thinking – Josh Hartnett is not really a good actor.  That’s exactly how I feel, yet he’s actually pretty good in this movie.  It starts out a little gruesome for my taste but if you can get past the first 15 – 20 minutes of the film it gets interesting.  I enjoyed that I didn’t know what was going to happen and that no one really seemed to over act their part.  Normally Bruce Willis has a tendency to cheese/ham it up for the camera, but here he did ok.  I really don’t want to comment too much on the plot because it may ruin the ending, however, if you’ve got some time this is definitely one to check out.  The plot goes to some interesting places and then wraps everything up neatly at the end.
