Yesterday on The View both Gayle King and Sherri Shephard were guest hosting. Now, since I’ve been staying at home I’ve watched the laughable train wreck that was Rosie O’Donnell and all that goes with it. Ahhh, good times that Rosie.
I feel like Barbara Walters (who had the day off) was auditioning the two to see how the audience would respond to them. I personally enjoyed it. Sherri Shephard likes to “keep it real.” I enjoy her honesty and candor when it comes to her life and her beliefs. At this point almost anyone is better than making me listen to Barbara Walters defend Paris Hilton anymore.
One other note – I was checking out Sherri Shephard’s My Space Page and noticed everyone commenting on Barbara Walter’s calling her “round.” I guess I didn’t pay that much attention at the time, but now I see, that was kind of rude! Dang Barbara – you can be overly sensitive when it comes to the feelings of the mother (Kathy Hilton) of a spoiled brat, but you can’t be bothered to use a little tack when dealing with a guest cohost? Nice!
